About Sintered Stone
關於石英大板
燒結石英大板是最新建築材料，使用最先進的高科技技術，模擬石頭於大自然地殼製造過程，而做出的材料。 天然大理石或花崗岩需要上千年的組成，然而透過最新現代建材技術，這樣的過程只需要短時間便可以完成。
礦物質以及原石分子經由高品質選取在透高機器高壓高溫製造，仿照大自然石頭製作過程，石材內分子結構會永久地聚合，也因為這樣的生產過程，能夠使大板更接近天然原石的特性，是一般石英、陶板或磁磚所不能比擬的。
燒結(sintering)的製作過程是相當繁複，需要天然原料在6,500磅(psi)的高壓以及在超過1,250度的高溫下製作。 如此高難度的製作條件只能由高規格昂貴造價的高機具所製作。
透過將天然原料在如此高溫高壓的製作條件下生產，能夠生產出堅固、實心板材，燒解大板也具有高不易刮壞、高耐溫、防水、防腐蝕等特性。
Sintered Stone is manufactured using newest technological advancements which imitate the processes that form natural stones. When natural stones like marble and granite are formed over thousands of years, sintered stone slabs take just a few hours.
Minerals and stone particles like the ones found in porcelain or granite are carefully selected for quality, colour and texture. These particles are then subject to extreme heat and pressure – just like they would be deep in the earth’s crust for thousands of years, but achieved much quicker. When the process is finished, the particles are bonded together permanently, without the need for resins or bonding agents, to create Sintered Stone.
The sintering process involves the crushing of natural materials under immense pressure (over 6,500PSI) and baking in extreme high temperatures (over 1250°C) . By exposing natural materials to extreme pressure and heat, the end-product forms a solid, impenetrable surface, and becomes Sinterstone which is extremely hard to scratch, burn, or stain.

Fire resistance and high temperature resistance: with A1 grade fire resistance, sintered stone will not deform in direct contact with high-temperature objects. It will not produce any physical changes (shrinkage, rupture, discoloration) or emit any gas or smell when encountering an open fire of 1,000 ℃.

The very low porosity of sintered stone (less than 0.08 percent) allows any type of liquid to completely spread across the surface and not stain it as is possible with other types of stone.

As a dense and strong material, it is scratch and abrasion resistant and quite capable of withstanding even extreme abuse. Sinterstone measures around 7 to 8 on the Mohs Hardness Scale, even harder than granite. Marble only has a score of 3.
